Marc Raybin Facilitates Two Panels at Annual Private Equity Energy Conference

Cardinal Communications Strategies' President Marc Raybin was honored to once again moderate two breakout panel discussions at this year's Privcap Game Change: Energy 2017.

The morning panel, "New Frontiers in Capital Formation," included fundraising experts Charles Bauer, Managing Director, EnCap Investments; Nadia Sager, Partner, Latham & Watkins LLP; and Lincoln Singleton, Senior Managing Director, Client Relations, Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. The discussion explored the latest trends in fundraising, unique structures for pairing capital with energy talent, LP co-investing and working with family offices.

In the afternoon, Marc took the stage with Sharam Honari, Partner, BlackGold Capital Management; Steve Sprenger, Principal, Valuation Services, RSM US LLP; an dClay Bretches, President & CEO, Sendero Midstream to talk about the "Midstream Scene." The discussion centered on whether or not competition from MLPs will return, what the impact of regulations will be on pipeline the business, and current trade issues.
